Present and Future

Present Mission

Here’s an example of our mission today.  A small church in our area had a big heart for reaching the needy, but had limited funds.  They wanted to offer a Thanksgiving dinner to the poor and homeless in their community. Buying the food was a big stretch for this church.  Yet, they were determined to provide not only food, but spiritual nourishment as well. When Bible Mission USA received their application for help in providing God’s Word, and sensing their heart-felt plans, we supported their mission outreach with 400 Gospels of John.

A free Thanksgiving dinner was enthusiastically welcomed by the hungry of their community.  Over 350 men, women and children enjoyed turkey and all the fix’ins.  More importantly, each guest walked away from that meal with the best gift of all—a pocket-sized Gospel of John.

Later we learned that three destitute families who ate in the church on Thanksgiving Day, came to worship the following Sunday!  Great news!  The pastor sent us a personal donation to offset our costs.  He said, “My wife and I want to do what we can to help replenish the biblical materials that were such a blessing, in order for Bible Mission USA to bless others.”

“No one lives by bread alone,

but by every word that proceeds

from the mouth of God.”

(Matthew 4:4)

Future Mission

Having been called to faithfulness in the work God has assigned us, we have dedicated ourselves to saturate our local communities with Bibles, biblical materials.  We have great expectations for growth as we provide for new communities on a rotational basis.  We want

'Our hands to extend your reach'

We focus on persons-in-need who are currently being helped by a wide variety of Service Organizations and Bible Mission member locations.  After Bible Mission USA approves these organizations we provide God’s Word, placing Bibles within view and easy reach of those being served.  All may pick up a Bible, claim it as their own and read it.

Bible Mission USA acts locally and thinks globally.  We envision our mission expanding throughout our state and well beyond.  We believe God expects us to work faithfully at the local level – “in Jerusalem.”  Later we will reach across our state – “into Judea and Samaria.”  In time the Lord will lead us “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

“I know the plans I have for you,

says the Lord.

They are plans for good not disaster,

to give you a future and a hope.”

(Jeremiah 29:11)
